What's Happening

Today’s menu will be a Wow Butter Sandwich, Assorted Chips, Deli Sandwich Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Sandwich Fixings, Seasoned Potato Wedge, Green Peas, Chilled Fruit, Fresh Fruit and Milk.

First Priority will meet in Coach Robinson's room every Wednesday at 7:10.

Yearbooks are quickly selling out.  There are only 70 yearbooks left for purchase so if you have not bought yours yet please see Mrs. McHan in the library. There will not be any extras available.

Full Band practice immediately after school today from 3 – 4:30.

Next week on the 23rd and 24th (Tuesday and Wednesday) we will be making club pictures.

JV/V Boys Basketball tryouts will be Friday, April 26th from 3 – 4:30.

Girls JV and Varsity Basketball tryouts will be May 16th and 17th right after school.  Any girls interested should sign up in the office.

Anyone interested in running for SGA Class Representative or SGA Officer may sign up with Mrs. McHan at this time.  The deadline for sign-up and participation forms is Thursday, April 18.

FCCLA officer applications as well as cheer manager applications are due to Mrs. Self by April 26th.

‚ÄčPrincipal's Message to Class of 2018

Pennington High School Class of 2018, many have stated in jest that, “You Can’t Get There from Here,” Indicating that the path might be too difficult to travel, so as to not even attempt such a journey.  I vehemently oppose that suggestion!  "YOU CAN GET THERE FROM HERE!"  Class, just as many past graduates from Pennington High have carved out a path for their success you are capable and prepared for that same opportunity. It can't be overstated that, "You Can Get There From Here," only if you are willing to put in the hard work and combine your intelligence, your aptitude, and your desires. 

Remember class that something great always comes at a price, a price of hard work, hard work that sometimes yieldsvictory and hard work that sometimes yields defeat, and many times yields persecution, but always yields the opportunity for Personal Growth.
